| Yab Yum Resort
is situated in northern Goa at the edge of the tranquil coastal
fishing village of Ashwem, which nestles half way between the villages
of Morjim to the north and Mandrem to the south.
Hidden away in a peaceful and quiet setting on white sands amongst
8000 square metres of cool and shaded lush coconut and banana grove,
Yab Yum sits directly behind the natural sand dunes
of Ashwem beach. From here you can relax and watch the local fishermen
bring in their daily catch from the Arabian Sea to a backdrop of
beautiful sunsets.

page.
Pools:
To cool off we have a dipping pool by Their beach gate, parents please
make sure your kids are supervised!
Kids:
Being parents Theirselves we are fully aware of how quickly kids get
bored whilst parents are relaxing, because of this we have set up
a full size teepee decorated with coloured flags and full of toys
for them to play with (the kids not the parents!). We also have
a shallow paddling pool for children to enjoy – please note
that we do ask that parents supervise their children whilst using
the pools! Child-minding can be arranged by Their in-house governess.
Drinks:
As well as breakfast we also provide a mini-bar service where drinks,
fresh fruit juices and lassis can be ordered and delivered either
to your room, the beach or wherever you may be relaxing within the
resort. We also run a light menu from 12noon to 8pm consisting of
freshly made snacks and salads.
Accommodation at Yab Yum Resort:
Domes:
Their domes are all constructed of natural, locally available materials
comprised of lava rock blocks, palm leaves, mango wood and local
mud, clays and sand.
Each dome has a seated reception area, a large master bedroom and
living space and a private ensuite bathroom with western-style flushing
toilet and hot shower.
In addition to Their standard domes we also have the 'Honey Pod'
dome which sleeps 2 and is located on the top of the dune looking
out to the sea, and the premium 'Double Suite Pod' which is a double
dome with 2 bedrooms, shared bathroom and living area and a terrace
overlooking the sea, again on the top of the sand dune.
Cottages:
Their cottages are constructed in the more traditional style by which
most of the local Indian houses have been built. Each cottage has
its own small veranda, master bedroom and private ensuite bathroom
with western-style toilet and hot shower.
.
All domes and cottages are for two people although we do have two
domes and one cottage which have been built specifically for a family
of two adults and two children (one double bed & two single
beds). If you require a family suite please specify this in your
reservation as these tend to get booked up quickly.
All of Their accommodation is furnished with large stone beds and
handmade mattresses, cane chairs, mango wood tables and sun loungers.
All rooms have clothes-hanging and storage space, fresh cotton linen
and feather pillows, soft lighting, reading lamps, cotton floor
durries and floor pillows, fans, mosquito nets, agra bhatti incense
