Hidden within the Margao Monte is a little known resort that has been slowly developing over the past couple of years. Located just opposite Nagesh Gardens in Marlin, Borda, Nagesh Village covers an area of approximately 10,000 sq mts. What is unique about this resort is that it is a getaway within the City of Margao. It is easily reached from either the Borda Road or from the Monte access road near BPS club. There is even a local bus service which passes through Motidongor and Marlin.

This is not a conventional resort as you will not find the normal luxuries associated with a tourist spot. Firstly the entire complex is built on a hillside among trees and rocks with winding paths and a thousand steps.

Just a little bit higher is the Resorts Multi cuisine restaurant called Food Heaven which is at the highest point in the Resort. Run by Fougeri Caterers from Bicholim, the restaurant has 3 levels and offers a spectacular view over the surrounding valleys. It features a tandoor and has a speciality Fish Curry & Rice served on a Banana leaf. It is one of the rare places in Goa where you cannot get a beer with your meal.

Accommodation :
There are five cottage style rooms which are large and have ensuite bathrooms. These are located around the perimeter. There is also road access to these cottages. Near the cottages, you find the 2 meeting rooms which are big enough to accommodate a party of 20 or a meeting of up to 30 people.
